The Pages of the Letter

November 6, 1897

My dear Jinnie,

I am glad you liked the flowers, I thought they would all get smashed. The Party went alright, no complaints yet. We have four others come in for this week. I am supposed to come up to London towards the end of this week, can’t tell if I shall.

Slater & Elliot were here; they went back last Friday.

I believe our People still keep to the old arrangements. They had some fairly good sport but it was the second time over for Partridges. We have another Party on 6th Dec. I have not heard if ours go away for Xmas yet. When do yours go?

Fondest love, hope to see you soon.
Your own Bob.
